·HIV/AIDS & Communication: a common challenge

The purpose of the panel is to present different perspectives from around the world on the enormous challenge HIV/AIDS presents to the field of communication -- in terms of programs, research, ethics, and many other cultural issues. The panelists will discuss their experiences, frustrations, and challenges in dealing with the pandemic and, especially, the many roles communication can play.

Moderator
Barbara de Zalduondo, Director of the Synergy Project, Washington DC. She is the director of a global project that seeks to bring together lessons learned in HIV/AIDS prevention, care and support.

The capacity of the auditorium is 100 participants. The speakers and chairpersons at the sessions would have priority and they would receive an invitation directly from the Organising Committee.
